Items that are in stock, will be delivered within 4 working days if you have placed the order and we have received your payment before 3 PM.

1) Purchase

When you have chosen the item you want, you can first click on the amount of items you want to purchase. Next, you can place the items in your basket by clicking the orange bar ‘Place in basket’. You are then redirected to your basket. You can still change the amount of items you want to order at this point.

Your basket gives an overview of all items, amounts and delivery times.

Do you want to order more items? Click on ‘Continue shopping’. You will be redirected to your basket when you place the second item in your basket.

When your order is complete, you can click the orange bar ‘complete order’. You will be asked to fill in your address data. If the delivery address differs from the invoice address, you can fill in another invoice address.

You can also choose a payment method.

Have you filled in all of your data correctly? Click the orange bar ‘Complete order’. You will then get an overview of your order.
If everything is correct, click the orange bar ‘place order’. You will then receive a confirmation e-mail with a link to your invoice.

2) Payment

- PayPal and credit cards

PayPal is a safe and fast way to pay online with free delivery insurance. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you can use PayPal to pay by credit card. You are insured by PayPal and you don’t need to create a PayPal account. Your payment is processed immediately.

- Bank transfer

You can choose to use Bank transfer as a payment method when placing your order. After choosing bank transfer as your payment method, you will receive an overview of the purchase amount and an e-mail with your order data and our bank account number. You can transfer the money at any time you want. A payment by bank transfer can take several working days. We will ship your order after we have received your payment.


3) Delivery time

Each item on our website has an indicated delivery time.

If the items you want to order are in stock and you have placed your order before 3 PM, your order will be shipped the same day.

When the items are not in stock, the delivery time is indicated on the website.

When an item is sold out and cannot be reordered, the purchase-agreement will be cancelled.

All indicated delivery times are merely an indication and cannot lead to any form of liability.

4) Shipping costs

No shipping costs or taxes are charged in the UK and Ireland (excluding British Isles). This only applies to regular orders and not to the shipping of spare parts.

5) Delivery

- Standard delivery

A standard delivery is shipped from the Netherlands by DPD or DHL. The receiver needs to sign for the parcel upon delivery. We therefore ask you to make sure someone is at home to sign for the parcel(s) on the delivery date.

It is also possible to fill in your work address as the delivery address.

Deliveries are on working days (Monday-Friday) from 8.30 AM to 7 PM
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a time slot for the delivery.

In case you are absent at the time of delivery, the parcel will be delivered again the next working day. If you are also absent the next day, the parcel will be brought to the nearest DHL or DPD depot where you can collect it during 5 working days with a valid ID or passport and your order number. If you do not collect your parcel at the depot, we will withhold the shipping costs from the refund amount.

- Comfort delivery

Large boxes or orders that cannot be delivered by DHL or DPD will be delivered by a furniture transporter who will contact you by telephone to arrange the delivery. Delivery will take place within 1 to 2 weeks after placing your order.

Rietveld Licht en Wonen (Lumidora) cannot be held responsible for any mistakes made by the parcel delivery service.

6) Cancellations

When we receive the payment for an order and the order is in stock, the order will immediately be processed in our fully automatised system. We therefore cannot cancel paid orders that are in stock.
If the items that you ordered are not in stock, we can still cancel your order and refund the purchase amount.
